I’m Kazuki Yunomé. I work across image-making and systems, combining visual sensitivity with technical structure. My practice spans digital illustration, selected 3D work, and the automation tools and pipelines that support creative production.

I am interested in reducing friction between idea and execution, and in using technology not as an end in itself, but as a practical means of making images with more clarity, speed, and freedom. Some projects are primarily visual, others are technical, and others exist somewhere in between, but they all share the same underlying concern: how to build a process that supports the work rather than getting in its way.

Over time, I have become increasingly interested in the relationship between craft and structure, between intuitive visual decisions and the systems that make those decisions easier to carry out. That is what draws me to work that sits between art and technology, where a creative idea can be refined through engineering thinking, and where technical tools can quietly strengthen visual intent.

Brief Timeline

2025 - Present

Relocated to Edinburgh. Currently focusing on cross-disciplinary creative production, integrating observational art, technology, and system automation.

2020 - 2024

Returned to immersive gaming after 11 years with Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, sparking a technical revelation. Committed to digital illustration, personal system design, and large-scale digital archiving.

2017 - 2019

Joined Terra Drone during its early startup phase, exploring the frontiers of business operations and drone technology. Focused on finding the intersection of business and visual design.

2013 - 2016

Traveled outside Japan to Taiwan at age 20, triggering a deep awareness of cross-cultural sociology. Explored economics, English literature, art, and experienced living in Mexico.

2010 - 2012

Passionate about baseball and rigorous physical self-training. Experienced a sense of cultural restriction when creative high school courses became strictly standardized.

1994 - 2009

Born in Sapporo. Developed a strong interest in physical movements, sketching, physical construction, and natural observation.
